As I’m sure many people already know marriage is something you have to be willing to constantly work at. Marriage is more than just throwing a wedding and starting a family, it’s about choosing one person who you want to grow with and cherish for the rest of your life. And just like anything else, you can’t expect to never work at it, and everything to be perfect. Now, I’m not saying marriage is all work and no fun. Quite the opposite actually. I think half the fun of marriage is finding ways you can improve your relationship and make it even better than the day before, cause in the end it’s your spouse and you. Kids, pets, friends, they will all come and go but your spouse is that one person who will always be there with you, so it’s important to show your marriage the attention and love it deserves.
That being said, today’s marriage post is all about why dating your husband/spouse is a great way to grow your marriage. Now I just want to say, I am no marriage expert nor am I trying to be one. I just want to share with all of you the things that have worked for my marriage, and who knows maybe it’ll work for you too!
Fall = Pumpkin Patch fun!
By far one of my favorite traditions that Jesse and I have is going to the local pumpkin patch and picking out the perfect pumpkin to decorate for the season. The local patch we go to is called Flamingo Road Nursery & Farmer’s Market (in south FL) and it’s such a cute little area with a ton of land and a bunch of pumpkins to choose from.
I especially love that they have a smaller little pumpkin patch area for the kids with baby pumpkins in it. The little pumpkin patch is also filled with hay and decorated like a fall fantasy which makes this the perfect place to snap a couple of cute pictures. Which of course, I did! 😆
I also love that this little patch has it’s own farmer’s market, where they sell all the food they grow there and they make some of the most incredible desserts and breads there too. Heavenly delicious!
Hello again, and welcome to “YouTube Tuesday”!
I decided to start planning out my blog post schedule in a way that would be easy and predictable for my readers. I’m a huge scheduler/planner (I love with writing in my planner) so it just made sense that I should plan my posts out too.
So, from here on out you can plan on every Tuesday there being a new YouTube video upload to my channel, which I’ll link here for you. Don’t forget to subscribe to get notified when a new video is up!
This hairstyle I designed is super easy and will last all day without having to redo/fix your hair (which to me is the biggest MUST for a hairstyle!) I mean come on, a girl doesn’t have time to do her hair twice in a day, am I right!? 😜
Alright and now, for my first “YouTube Tuesday” video I will be posting my favorite Game of Thrones/ Vikings inspired braid hair tutorial for you guys! I came up with this idea just randomly one day when I was getting ready (like most of my hairstyles) and thought I would share it will all of you!
Hope you guys enjoy!
You can check out my first tutorial ever HERE, for how to get the perfect curls in under 10 mins!
Talk to you guys soon! 💋
Hey everyone! So I’m super excited for this post because this is something I have been wanting to dive into and talk about since the beginning.
The reason I decided I wanted to start a blog was because one day my husband and I were sitting on the couch after we had just gotten back from a vacation and I said “let’s see all the pictures we took”. We pulled out our phones and combined between the 2 of us we had only taken 10 pictures! 10!? A whole vacation and we only took 10 pictures!? I could have sworn in my head we took more but there was the proof right in front of us. I was so bummed because we did so many great activities and I planned out all my outfits, and what did I have to look back and remember it by? Nada. I decided right then I wanted to create something that can be like a memory bank for us. For all our travels, our amazing moments in life that I want to cherish, and just fun silly everyday stuff. I wanted to make myself accountable for documenting our memories so that we had something to look back on later in life and reminisce. THAT’s why I started this blog, that and because I’ve always loved writing and find it to be such a great creative release.
Here it is, the final post in the Fall Series…FOOD!
