Hi loves! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I know it’s been awhile since last time we talked. I have been so busy with moving and starting my new job, that blogging had to take a back seat for a bit. But now the dust has started to settle, I’m back and ready to blog baby!
I figured it would be best to kick the new year off right with a new post. About what, you ask? I don’t even know lol. Hopefully it just come to me as I keep writing.
Well it is a new year, and that normally means new goals, right? So I guess I’ll talk about all the new goals I have for Blissfully Bubbly.
Where to start…?
Let’s talk office decor! Have you ever sat and planned out every detail of a room in your head, or how you want your first home or office to look? I literally do that ALL the time! I love designing and coming up with new ideas on how to decorate a room.
As a little girl, I used to constantly rearrange my bedroom furniture over and over again just because I loved switching things up. There just something so refreshing about changing things up. Plus, I get bored really easily so changing things up a lot is just common practice for me. Keeps things fun and interesting in my opinion.
But anyways….the purpose of this post is that I have been dreaming of how to decorate my first home office and I am so glad that now I will have the space to do it. I have been brainstorming and trying to come up with ideas of what I wanted for a while. Plus, I’ve been browsing Pinterest religiously trying to find inspiration for what kind of style I want in my office.
Deep conditioning my hair is a MUST! With long, light blonde hair breakage is always occurring. So to stop all the breakage I have been doing coconut oil hair masks for years now.
These masks are the only way to keep my hair in amazing condition. I swear by doing these at least once a week to cutdown on breakage and to strengthen your hair.
Plus this coconut oil hair mask will add so much shine to your hair and make it feel baby smooth. It’s honestly heavenly!

If you follow me on twitter and instagram, then you probably saw my stories about when we were in North Carolina for a couple days, and well that has something to do with our exciting news!
My husband and I have been wanting to share this news with you guys for so long. But we had to wait till everything was in order before announcing. So now that everything is ready to go we can finally share the news!!!
DRUM ROLL PLEASE…….
Alright guys, here it is, the holiday gift guide for HIM you have been waiting for! If you are anything like me then, you love shopping for your man! I just find that guy gifts are so much more fun, than shopping for girl gifts. I love that you can get silly little gifts and your man will still laugh and enjoy the humor in it (well at least my guy lol).
So, for this gift guide for him, decided to do a mix of regular great gifts with some fun stuff mixed in. I decided to keep the price of all gifts under $50 again, because theres no reason to blow your holiday budget when there are so many great options for under $50!
I will list out the guide for you just like my gift guide for HER so that it’s the same layout and easy to navigate for you. This is the link for the holiday gift guide for her HERE for you guys, just in case you missed it!

October 13th, 2017 officially marked 8 years my husband and I have been together. Four of those years have been of marriage. We got married on October, 13th, 2013. I know that’s a lot of 13’s. If you didn’t see our very first Marriage Monday post, then make sure you go check it out because we explain everything about why we chose that number and more random Q&A’s. Anyways…. this year, our wedding anniversary landed on a Friday the 13th, which made it extra special!
I learned to knit when I was in fifth grade and ever since then I have loved making random things like bags, scarfs, and (attempting) sweaters lol. So, one day I was on Pinterest looking for knitting patterns for infinity scarfs and I came across a video for crocheting, which looked WAY easier than knitting. I of course immediately started looking up YouTube videos to see if it was going to be something I could even teach myself to do and sure enough it was surprisingly easy!
That day I went to Michael’s craft store and I got a crochet needle set and some yard and I started following a YouTube video on how to make a baby blanket. It was tricky at first to understand all the terms and to figure out what I was doing but literally after like 2 rows muscle memory takes over and you coast from there. I wish I could remember the actually video I used but I can’t. Although, if you just type in the YouTube search “crochet for beginners” or “Learn how to crochet” a bunch of videos pop up that are super helpful and go step by step. I think this is the best way to learn because you can pause the video and rewind a bunch until you get it. I did this twice, both times making a blanket because it was a simple square pattern.
