Let’s talk Hair Breakage!
If you’re like me, then you are obsessed with haircare and keeping your hair in healthy condition.
I have been working on strengthening my hair and bringing it back from the dead and damaged side for years now. You can check out my haircare routine HERE.
For the longest time I would bleach and damage my hair and it started to really show in my late twenties when it started looking fried and felt like straw. I was so self-conscious about it, so I knew I needed a change in my hair routine.
For the last 5 years, I have been focusing on healthy hair growth and changing up my routine and hairstyles to help promote long healthy hair.
Since changing the way I style my hair in certain situations, I have noticed a huge reduction in spilt ends.
Believe it or not, the way to style your hair for certain activities is VERY important!
By styling your hair the “right way” for a certain activity, you can significantly decrease the amount of damage and breakage you cause to your hair.
So let’s get into all the helpful tips on how you should be styling your hair for activities.
If you have super long hair like me, then you might be a dry shampoo lover too!
I have been using dry shampoo for years now and I cannot live without it.
However, not all dry shampoos are made the same.
I have tried a ton of different brands and have narrowed down my list to these top dry shampoo brands.
Some dry shampoos are better for certain things which is why I decided to make this review with a breakdown of which dry shampoo is best to a specific end result.
This way you can find the best dry shampoo for you!
So, let’s get on to the list…
Deep conditioning my hair is a MUST! With long, light blonde hair breakage is always occurring. So to stop all the breakage I have been doing coconut oil hair masks for years now.
These masks are the only way to keep my hair in amazing condition. I swear by doing these at least once a week to cutdown on breakage and to strengthen your hair.
Plus this coconut oil hair mask will add so much shine to your hair and make it feel baby smooth. It’s honestly heavenly!

Hey guys! So I know this isn’t Tuesday (don’t worry you’re not going crazy lol). I meant to post this yesterday but my husband and I were driving back from our little road trip to South Florida, which took 12.5 hours!! 😩 That’s a long time to sit in the car. Talk about boring! But we will hopefully have some exciting news to share with you soon!! So needless to say, I know this post is a day late, but I figured better late than never.
This weeks YouTube Tuesday video is all about haircare. I’ve been getting a lot of questions asking about my haircare routine and what I do for hair growth and to maintain my long hair, so I thought I’d create a video for you guys to see all the details and products I use.
My haircare routine is actually quite simple and straightforward, so this is a nice short video that can sum it all up in a couple of minutes. I try not to use too many products on my hair because I find that it weights it down and does more damage than good. My hair motto is, less is more. I find the less products and things I use in my hair the faster my hair grows and the healthier it looks. I will definitely say my hair naturally grows pretty fast, but I have noticed that it grows much faster now that I started doing this hair routine consistently. I also, have been getting less breakage and split ends which is rare for a blonde with highlights lol 😂
So if you’re just curious as to what my haircare routine is, or if you are looking for new ways to enhance your hair health and growth, then make sure to check out the video below! ⬇️

Hi guys! So, I wanted to do a quick review on some of the Calia products I use since I get so many questions about what I use for my hair and skin. These are all products I truly use and I am not paid to promote these to you. I just wanted to genuinely share my opinion on the products and why I use them with you guys. So, let’s dive right in!
Background: Calia is a Canada based brand that ships to the US and all of their products contain only true organic ingredients. There are no chemicals or detergents, so it’s perfect for people like me with super sensitive skin. You can check out their site here!

Hello again, and welcome to “YouTube Tuesday”!
I decided to start planning out my blog post schedule in a way that would be easy and predictable for my readers. I’m a huge scheduler/planner (I love with writing in my planner) so it just made sense that I should plan my posts out too.
So, from here on out you can plan on every Tuesday there being a new YouTube video upload to my channel, which I’ll link here for you. Don’t forget to subscribe to get notified when a new video is up!
This hairstyle I designed is super easy and will last all day without having to redo/fix your hair (which to me is the biggest MUST for a hairstyle!) I mean come on, a girl doesn’t have time to do her hair twice in a day, am I right!? 😜
Alright and now, for my first “YouTube Tuesday” video I will be posting my favorite Game of Thrones/ Vikings inspired braid hair tutorial for you guys! I came up with this idea just randomly one day when I was getting ready (like most of my hairstyles) and thought I would share it will all of you!
Hope you guys enjoy!
You can check out my first tutorial ever HERE, for how to get the perfect curls in under 10 mins!
Talk to you guys soon! 💋
Hair tutorial time!
Hey guys so this is officially my very first hair tutorial. I’m so excited to start this venture and start showing you guys how I create all my braided hairstyles. I decided to start with my everyday look so you guys could see how I get my curls that are in most my pictures. I came up with this easy 10 min style after I got fed up with curling my hair last year. It used to take me an hour from blow-dry to finished curls to do my hair, which is crazy! So, I knew there had to be a better, faster way to get those beautiful loose curls. So, without further ado, here is my first hair tutorial (featuring Samuel L. Catson lol)
