Ok so here it is, the long awaited review for the isle of paradise self-tanning drops. I wanted to use this product for a few months before I made a review about it to make sure I really gave it a good shot. Within those 2 months I have gone through a whole bottle with applying it every week. So that works out to about 1 bottle getting you 8 full body tans. So, it’s a good amount of tans for only $35.
So, lets get into the details about this product

Isle of Paradise Information
What are tanning drops?
These are liquid drops that you add to your favorite moisturizer to gradually tan your body.
How long does it last?
The tan lasts for about 4-6 days. However, you can reapply the tan with your lotion every other day to get a more gradual natural looking tan.
How much product do you use?
The instructions say you can use anywhere from 1-12 drops for your desired tan level. I like using 2 drops for my face and 3 drops for my body since any more than that looks very unnatural on my super fair skin.
How long does the bottle last?
1 bottle lasted me 8 full body applications. This may vary depending on how many drops you apply with each use.
Where to buy it
How long does it take to develop?
My tan developed within 4-6 hours. You can leave it on longer as well if you like to sleep in your self tanner.
The smell was better than most self-tanners however it still has that suntan lotion smell when developing. Nothing over powering. I have actually worn this tan to work on my face before and could only notice the smell a little bit.
Application of the product is very simple. Just put some of your favorite lotion in your hand (this is the one I use). Then add however many tanning drops you want to the lotion in your hand. Then rub your hands together to mix the two together. Then start applying your lotion to your body as you normally would.
This depends on your lotion. If you have a quick drying lotion then it will dry as quick as it normally does.
This product did not transfer to my clothes while it was developing. However if you get any of the lotion on a carpet then it will develop with the tan color when it dries. So always apply on wood/title surface that can be easily wiped up.
After a few showers, on approximately day 4-5, when the tan is starting to fade I did notice some color transferring onto my white towels after I showered and dried off. This was not a lot of transfer and nothing a quick wash didn’t fix but it was still a noticeable color transfer.
This product does not have a color guard so you must be aware of where you already applied it. I apply mine by starting at my feet and working my way up to my face so that I make sure I did not miss any places.
Tis product comes in Light, Medium, and Dark. I chose medium and it gives me the perfect tan on my fair skin.
Health/Safe for you body
This product is all natural, vegan friendly, and cruelty free. This did not cause any rashes or breakouts on my sensitive skin.
Would I recommend isle of paradise self-tanning drops?
YES! I actually really loved this product. I plan to reorder it and to also try their other self-tanning products as well. I would this products to be way easier and cleaner to use than St.Tropez (which I loath).
So, all in all isle of paradise self-tanning drops were a great purchase and product. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new self-tanning option.
